What we aim for

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA as a practical target and to keep improving the site over time.

Keyboard

Interactive elements are reachable and operable with a keyboard, with a visible focus outline so you can see where you are.

Structure

Pages use headings, landmarks and descriptive text so screen readers can navigate them in a logical order.

Motion

The site respects the reduce-motion setting in your operating system, so animation is minimised if you have asked for that.

02Practical notes

How the site behaves

Colour and contrast

Text is set to contrast with its background, and colour is not the only way information is conveyed. Data charts pair colour with labels.

Images and diagrams

Product images and the engineering diagrams carry text alternatives or nearby descriptions, and the same information appears in the surrounding text and tables.

Resizing

The layout adapts to smaller screens and to increased text size, so you can zoom in without content being lost.

Known limits

Some detailed charts convey their full richness visually. Where that happens, the key figures are also given in an adjacent table or in the text, and we welcome feedback on anything that is hard to use.
